OUR CONGREGATION
SVD [SOCIETAS VERBI DIVINI]
St. Arnold Janssen founded the Society of the Divine Word (SVD) on September 8, 1875 in Steyl, Holland. The members of the society are called as Divine Word Missionaries and as SVDs. Today there are more than 6000 SVDs from different countries and are spreading the Good News in more than 70 countries in all five continents.
